CONGRATULATIONS Jeff, Kelly and Marion for  being a  Golden Guitar Finalist in 2019 for the song “ After January Rains” written by Kelly and Marion Dixon and Jeff Brown.

Traditional Australian Country Music artist Jeff Brown, believes that a good Bush Ballad tells a story that will touch the heart of everyday Aussies.  Jeff Brown delivers these stories in song with sincerity and quality. Winning a Tamworth Golden Guitar award for Bush Ballad of the Year in 2014 as well as 2005 gives testimony to this.

Jeff grew up on the family property on the Darling Downs in Queensland. In 2000 he bought an old Value Liner Mack and has been an owner/driver ever since.

Jeff sings songs about life on the land and the trucking industry, relating to both in a personal way. “Torn Between Two Worlds” is a song on Jeff’s Truck album, “The Open Road”. It’s about being torn between the music that he loves and the trucking game. It sums up Jeff’s heart to a tee.

In 2018 Jeff again teamed up with Stuie French at Swingin’ Doors Studios to produce a new album “More Times Than I Remember”.   The title track along with award winning “After January Rains”,  contemporary “Northbound” and heartfelt “The Weight of my Chains” were all penned by the accomplished song writing team,  Kelly and Marion Dixon with Jeff adding the tunes.  Other tracks included on this latest album highlight the writing talents of Bush Poets Gary Fogarty and John Peacock, bush balladeer and friends Keith Jamieson, Waverly Jackson, Col Johnson, Brian Kelly and M Cormack. Jeff has also recorded one of his favourite Eric Bogle Songs “No Mans Land”, a song he has always loved.
